Me and the whole family use to clean out our ears with bobby-pins back in the day. Qtips had not been invented yet, and the actually work better. But, does anybody use bobby-pins anymore. And 'assoline' was gross. But I give you a challenge, give me a second reason for using KY Jelly.

LOL! Assoline...god I've missed you guys...where have you been. Or better yet, where have I been! LOL.

Oh, and like Coffeypot above, my dad was the biggest user of bobby pins for that very same purpose. I had to keep a secret stash in order for them to remain "wax free"!

LMAO!! Assoline! Too freakin' funny!

The most recent guy I dated cleaned his ears with bobby pins. I had never heard or seen that before....and since I wear bobby pins in my hair I HAD to insist he NOT use mine for his ear cleaning ~ YUCK!

My grandma used to give us turpentine and sugar for a sore throat. Cause just a spoonful of sugar makes the poison go down.

haha, so funny!! My grandpa likes to clip his nails during church... you can hear the "clip" all through the congregation... gross! And he uses a pen to scratch inside his ear.
