Is It A Secret Or A Sin?

Happy Friday Everyone! Every human being can relate to this. One of those things that either happened to you as a child, or as a parent. Charisse shares the angst of this touching family moment, and then brings it full circle to include an Aloha Friday question for you to answer. Watch and find out what it is...

This week we are double dipping. We are linking up with Friday Follow at Midday Escapades which is a networking bloghop. They have about 800 participants each week. A great way to meet new blog friends.

MckLinky Blog Hop

We are also hangin' loose with Aloha Friday. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! This is hosted by Kailani at. Her Mister Linky draws about 100 blogs each week.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

We don't do the Leprechaun thing, but if I wanted to get rid of one I would just let him spend 5 minutes with my almost 13 year old and he would run for the hills.

My son actually built a leprechan trap for his room... out of legos of course. He did not want to get "rid" of him; but wanted his gold.

Have a great weekend.

How do you get rid of a Leprechaun? Invite him in and tell him you are a Jehovah Witness and ask if he knows Jesus as his personal Savior. Break out the Bible and a few pamphlets while offering to pray with him and…where’d he go?

But isn't it fun to lie to your kids. Screw with their little minds. Though it may hurt their feelings now, they will laugh about it when they are much older and reloading a gun on top of some tower in a college town. Ahhhh, the joys of parent hood.

I have never heard of a leprechaun visiting one's house before! Did you say you tip green milk into the toilet?!

My six-year-old was told by our nine-year-old neighbour that Santa didn't exist. Luckily my boy loves that movie Polar Express and so I told him that this boy said that because he can't hear the bell ringing. MasterSix says in response *I* believe in Santa.

Not so sure he still does after this Christmas when Santa had to return his Green Machine and his model of the solar system to Kmart because of poor manufacturing, and replaced it with a ripstick by the post with a computer-printed note of apology. It might have been overstepping the realm of credibility there.

I think if I found a leprechaun I'd want to keep it!

When we lived in L.A., no one made a big deal about leprechauns, and when we moved I was totally taken aback when the leprechauns invaded everything up here. All the kids were talking about what the leprechauns left them...I was like "HUH?" My son is going to be devastated when he finds out I am the leprechaun (not to mention the other things I am).

If you had a leprechaun, why would you want to get rid of it? LOL Aren't they supposed to bring you fun things? I don't know really. The only thing we do for St. Pats day is have corned beef and cabbage! :)

We didn't do this at home, but at school. A couple of moms/leprechauns would come in a trash the kids' classroom while they were at lunch, leaving behind gold candy coins. The ringleader of this adventure was a Jewish woman married to an Irish man -- so she always scattered Hannukah gelt on St. Patrick's Day, which I personally find hilarious.
