Is It Wrong?

Howdy Y'all! We aren't from Texas...but that is just good fun to say. So, a few weeks back we went to see The Blind Side at the movies. LOVED IT! I'll attach that discussion here as well in case you missed it. Today's vlog brings you a funny sequel. Leave it to Charisse to twist a beautiful story into something WRONG! It's part of why I love her though. Enjoy:)

Here is the "Movie Club" vlog we did for The Blind Side.

Hope you are having a terrific weekend! Leave a comment...or we might cry...no one needs to see that!

Doing my part in the "Save The Tears" campaign! ;)

"Howdy, Yall" is okay for you "non-Texans" to say...as long as it doesn't sound TOO yankee. ;)

Howdy - it's been awhile so I'm just easing my way back into the saddle. My next must see is "The Book of Eli"

I like "Ya'll". It's efficient. It takes two words and makes them one. Maybe I could say "G'Day Ya'll" just to keep it a bit Aussie.

Anyway, I think Charisse makes a good point. If you're going to help someone you don't want to help a dud. You might as well help someone who has a shot of making a name for themselves.

You know, if that kid can't catch a football, how will they hold down a job?

I still say y'all, more from all of my WVA friends than from living in Florida. It sure sounds better than the Philly greeting "Youse (pronounced use) Guys".

First, you switched sides... don't do that to me. I confuse easy! I can just picture you trolling the 'hood. You might want to find a kid who can do something besides football since that story has already been told and sold!

Have a great day!

I grew up in Texas, so I say y'all a lot!
I don't know if I would drive around at night trying to pick up a less fortunate kid! :-P

It's definitely true -- if I take a street urchin in, where's my guarantee that he or she will win a Nobel prize and thank me in the acceptance speech before the king? That's really all I'm looking for -- and I don't think it's too much to ask.

Is that bad?

Hilarious, as usual, girls!

I am ropeable that I cannot view your video right now due to limited internet connection, but thought I would say "hey" and wish you both a happy new year.

Glad you posted this--I was really bummed to have missed the discussion the first time around. This helped fill in the gap! I loved the movie, and have actually been keeping my mind and heart open to the possibility of taking in my own "Big Mike" but NOT quite in the way Charisse talked about LOL

I have been a terrible blogger lately. Thanks for sticking with me the couple times I've posted this month!

Wait, is there something about "Howdy Y'all" that I should know? Living in Alabama that's just pert near good manners to greet folks in sucha way.

I think Charisse probably posts GREAT Facebook status update... thingys (?).

I have not seen the movie yet...I keep trying. I think Heidi and Spencer of "The Hills" "fame" made a reference to such a thing awhile back on the Tyra show...Oh no...did I just admit I saw that...no not really, I saw it on Talk Soup.

Loved the sequel to your movie review. But I agree with Holly, I don't think this was the lesson of the movie...;-)
