You crack me up. They are too forward...my son's girlfriend had him kissing her on her bed on their last playdate...he is 5!

Love the videos! I laughed out loud at the "financial aid" comment! :)

Wow! Where to start? I used to work in an automobile insurance claims department. The "senior" (a more experienced claims adjuster in my unit) used to call trailer parts "early tornado detection." So, so, bad, but funny too.

Well, you know about pickles and my blog...need I say more?

Girls are forward. We do need to teach our children well...or unlearn them what their friends teach them.

LOL! Thanks for the shout out and the chuckles!

If I hear "I could NEVER do that" or "What about their socialization?" one more time I think I might go postal!

Yes girls are way too forward because the marketing powers that be are determined to sexualize them at such a young age!

I can see it now, the new MTV "Reality" show, it would be called - Real School. 6 kids picked to play around the monkey bars...

I had a friend that worked as a security guard at a department store, and some of the larger delinquents would hide/smuggle TVs and other Tech items under their skirts to take them. That's what I thought when you brought that up, I swear. ;)

The sentences were too funny! I have heard kids say some pretty interesting things when I've volunteered at school. I'm sure their parents would be embarrassed if they knew!

There is no way I could home-school. However, I could go for boarding school.

If I home-schooled, the kids would be experts in watching TV and playing on the computer--wait a minute. They ALREADY do that!

Thanks for my daily chuckle, ladies.

the kids probably have no idea why we think this is funny either. My son used to walk up the stairs behind the girls with the short skirts because "they wear thongs mom" In 7th grade. God bless us every one.

Good stuff!! I enjoyed this a lot--I love your parent-teacher conference strategy--you'll totally short-circuit any "concerns" or uncomfortable questions she might have jotted down for you :)
And I also love that you homeschooled...we did, too, from the time when my daughter was 4 until 5th grade--they were good years.

I also love that you don't wear skits, Charisse. I don't, either--almost never.

My kindergartener has been mentioning how "the littlest planet got fired". I'm pretty sure he's talking about how Pluto isn't called a planet anymore. It's hilarious the things they zero in on.

You have no idea how much I needed a laugh right now. It is 10:49 and I'm just reading a few blogs. My parents have been here 10 days now...and...I had my grandson's here the past 2 days. Yes, I said grandsons...talking about "dating" myself. They are 1 and 2 1/2 and never stop moving. I wanted them to have bonding time with their great-grandparents, who had only been with them one other time. What was I thinking? Am I off topic? Have I completely lost it? I knew the 2 of you would understand if I needed to vent a little:)

My 10-year-old son sang me a song today that he has heard in school that he claims he "NEVER" sings! LOL Now I need to ask him to sing it again (great mom I am! "Hey, you know that bad song you sung to me the other day that I didn't want you to sing? Sing it AGAIN!" LMAO!)

I'll get the words for ya and see what you think! LOL

I love these little videos you all do - mostly because I love the closeness of your friendship - it makes me smile!

I would like to do something like this with my girlfriends... Only I would have to make my blog rated "R" because wow... it could get ugly.
As a matter of fact, our last outing ended in a conversation about dental damns - LMAO
I almost wrote a blog about it..
I still might - LMAO!

great post as always!

Hahahaha. My two year old always says funny things to me too. Like, last night he said, "Mike! (He calls my hubby by his first name sometimes... even though he is definitely his biological father) I wanna watch the off." He is obsessed with The Office. He's two!! Crazy kid...

It would be great to be a fly on the wall in the parent teacher meeting when you flip the tables. I can just picture the teacher awkwardly looking for an explanation.

And the girl with the Hello Kitty underwear does sound more than a little bit forward. But at least she knows what she wants and she doesn't mess about.

I am afraid of the girls..I am afraid of my girl too, but my boy is clueless and the girls seem so sophisticated.

Kids are just amazing with the things they come up with. Thanks for another great vlog!

One of the top ten reasons we have kids is because they're funny, right?

BTW, don't you just love the title, BATCRAP CRAZY?

Loved this post! You two are soo funny! Your stories here are hilarious too! Your kids are adorable and sooo funny. I don't have kids, but I don't understand why people tend to think kids who are home-schooled don't know how to play with other kids and aren't socialized...it's not like they are locked in a closet all day!

Thanks for the shout out! I am at work (on lunch...no worries..not wasting money) so I can't watch the video. Hope to be able to do that tonight.

I don't have to see it to know that kids are great and I'm always amazed at the way their brains work! I'll be doing another Convos From The Hood post! LOL...

Thanks again!
