I love your version of the movie club concept--keep it light, keep it fun...but I have to tell you I am absolutely determined not to wear polyester, elastic band pants EVER and I would probably side with Charisse on just not drinking before resorting to the Kotex... am I too vain for your club? Oh, I hope not...I seriously doubt either of you would ever wear polyester pants, either. Let's just make a pact to not let that happen K?

Okay, I have to say before I comment that I just love watching you guys! (I guess that is part of the comment though!) :)

My Mom is totally one of those not fun people to watch a movie with because she' s always like, "That was so impossible". She's always picking up on things like the glass being in the wrong place or something. She's a bit of a killjoy like that!

I think a movie club is an awesome idea! You don't have to carve out time for reading (which I never seem to have...could be all this blogging I'm doing). I think any activity that is so funny it requires pee protection is worth doing!

i once made a girlfriend laugh so hard she peed her pants. in public. at an atm.

she was certainly not wearing kotex.

I don't know nothin' bout no Kotex, but I would be the geek waxing poetic about "Hey look, the lady had her left hand on the wine glass in that shot, and in the next shot it was her right hand :Tsk Tsk:, such bad continuity." So yeah, I would be that person movie geek person. Is there a club for Obnoxious Movie Geek people?

Was this a deja vu?? I thought I had already commented and watched this?? Am I crazy??

You both are way too funny. I wish I had a friendship like you. I have lots of great friends, but none so open and honest in sharing their thoughts. Who does your camera work?

oh my gosh, those laugh-until-you-pee times are THE BEST!!!!

so....does this mean you two are starting a club? :)

Ok, so the very first time I visit this site, I'm greeted with a video about tampons. And now I get the Kotex version.

I think I'm going to recommend that you start charging admission for these videos. With the right advertising strategy, you could make some money. Ok, maybe not.

But the movie club sounds like it might work.

A movie club sounds fun. Kotex do not sound fun. :)

Lee...you're not crazy. You were the 1st to comment and I was the 2nd. Now we're missing in cyber space!

What I said was something like this: "I should have worn a kotex before watching this vlog! Hilarious!

I almost needed Kotex while watching this...lol

I absolutely refuse the Kotex and elastic band pants reality. If you ever see me walking down the street like that, please take me out of my misery.

Movie club sounds great, not a big fan of book clubs.

I wanna be in your movie club!!!!

I don't like Kotex, though.

Where do I sign up? LOL! Movie clubs could be the next 'big thing' especially in this tough economy right now. Seriously great post!

OMG! You guys are freaking hilarious! I've had 4 children...wonder if I need to start wearing Kotex when I know I'm going to be laughing a lot.... hmmm. Something to think about! LOL

Sometimes my fiance and I will be watching a movie and something will get blown up and he'll go "An explosion doesn't REALLY look like that. That's so fake". LMAO! And I'll be like, "Dude! Can we just enjoy the movie without you showing off your expertise in explosives??" LOL He's a combat engineer in the Army... that's their specialty... blowing shhtuff up!

You are so right, though. Going out or hanging out with people who laugh easily and are generally happy are SO much fun! Sometimes I find myself and the fiance the only ones laughing when I make a joke because the people around us either didn't get it or just think I'm strange. Well, then, let me be strange! :-D

KOTEX!!! What a great idea. I mean it was just staring me in the face all along. I can't do much these days...run or cough or laugh without peeing in my pants. My girlfriends and I joke that we WILL NOT wear depends until they come out with leopard printed ones...but Kotex, holy geez. That will work.
And I totally got your bandaid on the nipples reference..been there done that. TaraB, seriouslywhycanti.blogspot.com

I don't know what Kotex is (and when you were talking about it I was imagining it spelt Cotex.. because that's what I do for fun, imagine how to spell words I've never heard before) but what I did realise is the people you wouldn't want to watch movies with were both given male voices and the fun people were given female voices.

I'm just saying.

Is there no place you girls won't go? Kotex? Priceless! I won't jump on the trampoline unless I have gone to the loo first, but I don't think I am in danger of weeing my pants at the movies!

I wish I could join your movie club!

you guys are to much (but I heart both - big time) ;)

I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for your movie club!! Sounds like so much fun! I was even thinking of doing a "vlog" post once a week or something. Maybe it's just me... but when I'm talking, my wonderful sarcasm shines through! When I'm writing... I have a hard time getting my wittiness (is that even a word?) across. Or maybe it's just me being too critical of my writing... I don't know.

I'm so happy you enjoy my posts!! I am on your blog daily to check out what's new!!!! I think you guys are, as we Mass holes say, wicked pissa! :-)

We're big movie geeks in my house. We quote our favorite movies all the time! Does that make me too geeky to be in your movie club?? I hope not!

Oh no! The video won't play. I keep getting an error message! Thanks for following both of my blogs. I'm following you right back!

Very clever way to work in the Kotex of title. Great concept for the movie club. I'm not of a movie quote person like the above poster but I do love movies.

Me too kys - I'm a joiner. Don't wanna miss anything and all.... LOL

great idea - I wanna play!! :)

I really thought I left a comment earlier...but I don't see it. You aren't sitting in the right places.

I refuse to become the polyester lady, but you know that kotex thing becomes less of a joke the older you get:)

You gals are hysterical. I love the Kotex conversation. And the idea of a movie club instead of a book club is great !

Although I must tell you, I have a Martini Book Club with about 15 of my gal mom pals and it meets only four times a year. It's less about the literature and more about the libations. In fact, we talk about "the book" we were supposed to have read but none of us finished for about 3.5 minutes, then we're pouring more martinis.

Yes, we have our priorities straight.

I loved when I was a part of book club...but I moved..boo hoo. I should try the movie club...I never go to movies! And if anyone needs them I have a freakin' huge bag of those great big pads they give you in the hospital after you have a kiddo.
