In the second video we chat about why we wore such atrocious clothing for nine long months of pregnancy? Seriously, what were we thinking?
If you are looking for new blogs to follow, here are a few I enjoyed this week:
*Elvira lives in Tuscany, Italy. Her blog posts are glimpses of her life there, primarily in pictures. So beautiful. tuscanysmagicalplaces.com*I made her Apple-Cinnamon cake this week (took 1 hour from start to finish) and was fabulous! She writes about her life & gives lots of helpful tips along the way. ineedmom.blogspot.com
*A new blog with a few great posts this week, including a video she made called "Does Anybody Hear Her" about a women's shelter she works at. Very touching! crosscountrylove.blogspot.com

SO, you don't want me to tell you that by 2 weeks post-partum I was on average 10 pounds UNDER pre-pregnancy weight????
You mean I wasn't suppose to rock the "Baby on Board" T-Shirt my mom passed down to me from 20 years ago!?!?!? No wonder I was stared out, never mind the wide-load sign plastered across my hiney!

My word to post this "extrizes" is that like some form of exercise for the large sizes - because if so, how did blogger know that I am plus size?
LOL! We had a storm that knocked out the electricity for 48+ hours. Boy, did I miss you ladies! Glad to be back online and enjoying your hilarious repartee!

I have 2 kids, but only had one pregnancy and they aren't twins. It's a riddle. I came home from the hospital 5 pounds above my pre-pregnant weight, but I couldn't fit into anything that was my "real" size. I bought a couple pairs of bigger jeans and pretended I was in my own clothes. The bad thing is I weigh darn close to my delivery weight now...such is middle-age. I also never went back to my pre-baby bra size. If I weighed now what I weighed before I got pregnant, people would think I was dying. What's up with that?
As for the maternity clothes, I snuck in right after everything was "baby" with an arrow pointing down. I went to a big city and bought what was cute for the times (my pregnancy was a big happy surprise, so I splurged). Now they make such cute stuff.
Thanks for the nod above. I'm so glad you liked the cake. I have some other easy stuff coming. Someone asked my name yesterday...I sign it on comments, but I think people aren't seeing it. So, I'm Sue...just so you know.
Happy Thursday!
I just gave you ladies an award over at my place. :)
I can't even tell you the horrendous clothes I wore while pregnant! Ugh. Groan. So embarrassing to look back... Glad you found us. I'll be stalking you back as a follower. Great blog! Looking forward to more...

Girls...now that damn song is stuck in my head!! Which shows my age, which is another damn! I am still about 20 pounds over my first childs pre pregnancy weight and she is going to be 9 next week! DAMN SONG!
Yes! to everything you guys are saying here. Ugh! the stuff they tell you about breastfeeding! Pa-lease! Check out my post today for a little of my breastfeeding experience. But really, it was so much more than that. I could go on and on and on about that period of my life!
Thanks so much for the mention!! I have to tell you that I can't get enough of you guys... I've been going back further and further to previous posts soaking it all in. You guys are awesome!!
Thanks for all the great posts, I enjoy following along!
Wait did you just condone telling pregnant women that they're fat? Because that sounds like the kind of thing you only do on a dare.
And at least crying at a funeral because the other girls clothes were prettier.. you wouldn't have looked out of place anyway.
I just had a baby and I tried to wear my pre pregnancy clothes. BIG MISTAKE! I didn't fit in them! I was really sad. My stomach does look flatter, but no way it's the way it was back then.
I wore cute maternity clothes!!! Breastfeeding sucked for me. I have inverted nipples and had to use nipple shields to get my baby to latch on. Unfortunately, my milk didn't come in till the 6th day and I got desperate. I started feeding her formula, and now she prefers it over my breast milk, which I now have to pump with a breast pump.
Hey, shoot me an email, I have a question for ya'll!
If that was the reason for quick weight loss, I should have breastfeed longer! LOL. I couldn't afford cute maternity clothes when I had my boys so admire them on other women now.
p.s. Ladies - I'm spotlighting ya'll for my Site of the Day tomorrow. I didn't see a button so I grabbed the profile pic to link with your blog.

You two girls crack me up. I love coming over.
My youngest is 7 years (not months) and I am still looking for my pre-pregnancy figure and weight. If you see any of them lurking around let me know. I so miss them so. If not, oh well, I would just have to eat another cookie...
I love this! It's like sitting down with my girlfriends! I'm going to have a cup of tea next time I sit down with you :)
I was NOT cute when I was pregnant. I don't think it mattered what I wore :(
There's never a good time to wear bright canary pants. Never. ;)
Funny and true! No one ever tells you about the less pleasant or bad stuff when it comes to pregnancy, giving birth, post partum, peri-menopause or post menopause. I made it my personal crusade not to sugar coat the facts. You guys did it today as well.
You are both so adorable, and I just love listening to you chat. I don't have children so I'm just living vicariously through your cute stories. I love the cute canary pants story and would love to see a picture of those. Thanks for the happy laughs today. And thanks for your sweet comments on my blog as well. Happy Friday! ~Gretchen
